This is the only brand I wear! These are great, high quality knee pads and many on out derby team use these. They don’t stretch out and they provide great cushioning. 10/10 would recommend!

My package was delivered almost fully open. Luckily the contents seemed unaffected. The folded part with the glue seemed to have been pushed up to the point where the bag was open, I assume this happened during transport. It came exactly at the estimated date from what the map on the website showed.

Paid for themselves on day one

Took up windsurfing recently and thought a Carver surfskate would be a good way to improve my balance. I am 43, 6'1" and 240 lb, so I fall hard and don't bounce back like I used to, but in my head I am still a kid. Anyway, I was good and waited till all these pads arrived and tried them out in the park next door about 30 minutes ago. Predictably, I crashed a couple of times and the KP44 kneepads, EP 55 elbow pads and Hired Hands gloves now all have scrapes on them. It would have really hurt without them, especially my elbow, so even though they cost a good bit, I consider them to already have paid for themselves. Yes, I look like a dork (we didn't do pads where I grew up in the 80s and 90s), but I will get to ride my skateboard again tomorrow so I don't care.

High Quality. Less Bulk, Worth The Price

My 10 yo son has been skating the 187 Killer Pro knee pads for the past year. They are great for vert and transition skating... but definitely too bulky for street. The Triple Eight KP 44 knee pads are the perfect street knee pad! They are the Pad to get for any street skater looking for added protection while working on progressing without the bulk. I used the size chart and measured. The size chart was super accurate. The pads fit perfectly upon arrival. Easy on easy off. Pads stay in place when skating. Great piece of equipment to add confidence and protection.

Small Singuards

Knee pads were made great and fit great. The largest shin guards were far too small. I'm a big guy, but I don't have huge legs.

Would Not Recommend for Roller Derby

Not padded enough to protect knees during derby games. I do appreciate the reinforced bottom panel and that you can replace the knee cap!

Knee pads (quads, skatepark)

I went with the large and I should have sized down. I am at the end of each Velcro straps. Beyond that, the padding is great. Took two good falls to the knee, and I felt nothing. I feel mobility is great too.

100% solid.

As my daughter is active first with her analog scooter and now picking up skateboarding I did a lot of research in upgrading her safety gear. Initially she was wearing those basic, cheap pads we find at big box stores. These knee pads are exactly what I was looking for. Very similar build quality of the high end pads I wore in the 90s, perhaps a bit better and the fact that they come in various sizes to fit the kids enabled us dial in the perfect fit. She's a sturdy kid aged 9 and we went with Medium. I'd also add their Customer Service is nothing short of stellar! Highly recommend buying gear here.

Comfortable and protective

5’6” 115lbs, bought size M. Had a similar pad before these and found them to be too bulky. These check all the right boxes without compromising comfort or mobility. Have only had them for a month so can’t comment on longevity.

Love my KP 44 Knee Pads

I wanted to upgrade my knee pads after I took a spill on my electric skateboard. The KP 44 fits true to sizing and is comfortable and looks like good protection that will meet my needs with my electric skateboard and surfskate. :)

Best wrist protection

The upper brace adds so much support that single ones. Being made of leather they also protect your hands as well as not being as sweaty.
