PRO TIP: If your measurements are in-between the sizes shown or you’re simply in doubt, we strongly recommend sizing up to the larger size. We have found over the years that customers do better when they choose the larger size.
DELIVERIES
All of our orders are shipped via DPD from our UK warehouse and we aim to deliver orders as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Our standard working days are Monday - Friday.
Orders placed on the weekend will be processed and shipped on the next available working day. Quoted shipping times are from shipping confirmation, not from when the order was placed.
We do not ship on UK Bank Holidays - please allow extra time for deliveries around these times. For a full list of these dates, please visit www.gov.uk/bank-holidays.

RETURNS
HOW TO RETURN YOUR ORDER
If you're not happy with your purchase for any reason, you can return your items to us within 14 days of receiving them for a full refund if they are in a saleable, unworn condition.
It is the responsibility of the customer to cover any return shipping costs. We recommend that returns are sent by a recorded or signed for delivery service, of your choice, to ensure your return is tracked and insured. The goods remain the customers’ responsibility until they are received at our warehouse. Please ensure they are packaged appropriately to avoid damage during transit. Please see below for the returns address to send your items to.
If the product, including items bought on sale, is in a saleable condition and returned within 14 days of delivery, the full purchase amount will be refunded including any outbound shipping costs. We reserve the right to deduct a percentage of a refund up to the full value, if the value of the goods are diminished as a result of handling the goods by the consumer beyond what is necessary.
We can provide information on how to use these services once you have completed our Returns Form supplied in your order. Please email us if you require a Returns Form or if you experience any issues in making your return.
We aim to process all returns as quickly as possible. Once we have received and inspected your package, your return should be processed within 7 working days. Once processed, refunds will be returned back to the original payment source and can take up to 5 working days to become visible, depending on your bank.
If you believe your goods are faulty, please contact our customer service team at enquiries@triple8.co.uk along with any information and any images outlining any defects or damage.
EXCHANGES
Because our stock is constantly changing, we do not offer a traditional exchange service. Instead, a new order should be placed and the old order returned for refund. Once we receive your original items back in the warehouse, the usual returns process applies.

So comfy, really helps me being safe and comfortable on the board. I just sweat a lot when its warm outside. But thats the price I pay to be safe ;)
I practiced the other day with my new Bummer 2 padded shorts. They're comfortable as expected padded shorts to be. I do not feel confined when skating. I've skated the other brand which was fine even in the heat of the day during summer. I don't anticipate these being any less as I see and feel quality.
I will recommend this item to my fellow roller skaters.

I wear these under my pants while ice skating and roller blading for ultimate protection during those rare times when I fall. Prevents nasty bruising and makes it a painless experience. The Name is totally accurate-BUMSAVER!
The shorts are great but they cut off circulation in the legs. I'm an in shape, 145 lb, 5'6" female, and the medium shorts fit, but were too tight to ride all day and have circulation to my legs. The XL fit around the thighs but the waist is too big. Waiting for the size L in the mail now. But if we could just get a little more room in the legs, that would be a game changer. They fit like compression shorts, and using them for sports like dirt bike riding, we need comfort and proper blood circulation.

These shorts provide protection everywhere you need, and are able to flex with you as easily as any other undergarment. They can also fit a wide range of people, so you really do not need to worry about the sizing being perfect or not. Super worth it!

Hanging out in my mid 30s, getting back into skating where I left off. Life is too short to worry about knee caps, tail bones and elbows... and lack of any amount of work when you're in the trades. I opted for some street knee and elbow pads, a bumsaver 2, some wrist guards and some kp22s. Everything fit nicely and is comfortable. Customer service is A+. Thank you, Triple 8!

Bumsaver 2 Padded Shorts
Fell multiple times on my bum, and felt protected each time. What more is there to say! Good fit and coverage.
I'm a 5'4 female, 130 lbs, and size 4/small. I ordered the small shorts and they fit really nice. The problem was with the waist band. It was way too tight. I emailed the company to let them know and without me even filling out anything they immediately took care of the situation. They sent me a Medium. The problem with the M was that it was way too high on the padding so even my loose pants wouldn't fit over it. Anyways I ended up up using the small and cutting out the waistband. They saved my hip when I fell off my dirtbike riding enduro. When I fell I felt the pain but nothing more after that. I would buy them again. Just hope they fix the waistbands for those of us that don't have six packs.

I absolutely love these shorts! I started aggressive inline skating along with my husband a couple months ago. He did it a ton as a kid and I had only skated around maybe a dozen times previously. These shorts really gave me the confidence to level my skating up in a fun and safe way! Let’s be honest, falling hurts. A lot. These have made falls that would’ve caused weeks off previously simply a bruise to the ego and nothing more!
As a thiccc girl (iykyk) I originally sized up, but ended up needing my true size. Customer service was 10/10 in helping me navigate that little hiccup.
The shorts are comfortable and breathable enough for AZ which is massive!
I picked up the Bumsaver 2 shorts for some extra peace of mind while skating, and the quality is top-notch. The padding is strategically placed right where you need it (tailbone and hips) without being so bulky that you look like you're wearing a diaper.
The mesh material is surprisingly breathable, which is a huge plus since nobody likes overheating under their jeans. They fit true to size and don’t slide down during heavy movement. If you’re looking for high-quality impact gear that doesn’t restrict your range of motion, these are the ones. Triple 8 definitely knows what they’re doing!
GREAT HELMET
The Pads fit my son well. We followed the guidelines for measuring him and the wrist, knee, and elbow pads all fit!
We haven't had a chance to try them out with a skateboard yet, but them feeling comfortable and fitting make it easier for him to want to wear them.
Also, we experienced excellent customer service in regards to the Bumsaver 2 when we ended up ordering a size too big. The team responded quickly to my inquiry and handled the situation professionally.

Ordered the padded shorts and knee pads. Both came when promised and are of excellent quality. The shorts ended up not fitting so I contacted customer service via the email provided. They responded promptly and were extremely helpful. I will definitely be buying from them again!
We ordered the Bumsaver 2 pads for our 8-year-old son for skateboarding as he’s started working on more difficult tricks in bowls and on the half pipe. We wanted something that would protect his hips and tailbone during harder falls, and these have been perfect.
They fit him really well! I was worried we might need to size up his pants, but they fit comfortably under his regular jeans and khakis. There was a short adjustment period (just one lesson 😊) while he got used to the feeling, but after that he didn’t want to skate without them.
The padding is exactly where he needs it for the types of falls he takes, and it makes a huge difference in softening those hard impacts on his little body.
We are extremely happy with this purchase!
Only complaint is that there is no room in the front to accommodate my groin area. Extremely tight down there…..try to have kids later on in life.
After grossly brusing my hip falling backwards while playing organized pick-up ice hockey, I purchased the Bumsaver 2 Padded Shorts to wear inside my hockey pants and I love them! Shorts are low profile and comfortable. Padding is in the right spots for falls on the hips.

Bumsaver 2 Padded Shorts
The exoskin elbow sleeves fit under a sweater and have so far protected my elbows from impact and road rash when skateboarding. I ordered the wrong size wrist guards and the return process was super easy and free.
I broke my tailbone playing ice hockey and bought the bumsaver 2 shorts for some more protection, and they’re great! The foam is firmer than I expected and absorbs impact well. Customer service was also great with my exchange, the shorts did run a little small.
Outfitted my neighbor with your knee, elbow and hip pads, as well as your wrist protectors, so she could practice crawling on the ground and maneuvering on the ground without getting scuffed up (prior to bootcamp). It was recommended to size up, and I’m glad I did. They run a bit small, and fit tight until broken in. They become comfortable, work well, and provide a lot of protection while crawling, scooting, maneuvering and doing calisthenics on bare ground, on grass, on concrete, and on asphalt.
